SA & NSKK Service Daggers
SA & NSKK Service Daggers – History and Features
The SA Service Dagger (Model 1933) and the NSKK Service Dagger are among the most iconic NSDAP edged weapons. Introduced in 1933, their blades bear the motto “Alles für Deutschland”. Early examples show solid nickel fittings, hand-ground blades and brown anodized scabbards. Later RZM-period daggers feature plated fittings, standardized blades and RZM codes.

The NSKK dagger follows the SA pattern but, from the mid-1930s, is typically encountered with a black lacquered scabbard. Differences also appear in hangers and carrying straps. Most pieces were made in Solingen by firms such as Carl Eickhorn, F. W. Höller, E. & F. Hörster, WKC, J. A. Henckels and Anton Wingen Jr..
