SA Dagger [Early Version] by Carl Fr. Kührt Zella Mehlis

A rare early SA dagger produced by the very scarce maker Carl Fr. Kührt Kom.-Ges. (Zella-Mehlis). The lower crossguard bears the district stamp “He” (Hessen).

Grip: Light brown wooden grip with inset nickel national eagle and enameled SA roundel, both internally pinned and original. Crossguards of solid nickel, reverse of lower guard hand-stamped “He” (Hessen).

Blade: Double-edged, bright blade. Obverse with the SA motto “Alles für Deutschland”, deeply and sharply etched. Reverse with the maker mark Carl Fr. Kührt Kom.-Ges., Zella-Mehlis. Blade shoulders precisely fitted to the lower guard.

Scabbard: Steel scabbard with brown finish, straight and free of dents. Nickel-plated fittings, each secured by two side screws. Upper fitting with suspension ring for hanger.
