SA Dagger [Early Version] by Ernst Pack & Söhne Solingen
SA Service Dagger, early production 1933–1935, featuring the distinctive “Tiger grip”. Maker: Ernst Pack & Söhne, Solingen. Total length: 37.4 cm. Preserved in completely untouched, uncleaned condition.
Grip: The grip is made of brown wood, fitted with the enameled SA emblem and the nickel national eagle, both internally pinned and fully original. The crossguards are crafted from solid nickel. The reverse of the lower crossguard bears the hand-stamped group marking “Nrh” (Niederrhein).
Blade: The double-edged blade is mirror-bright, free of rust or nicks, in overall condition grade MINT. The obverse bears the SA motto “Alles für Deutschland” (“All for Germany”), deeply and crisply etched. The reverse shows the maker’s mark “Ernst Pack & Söhne, Solingen”. The blade shoulders fit precisely to the lower crossguard.
Scabbard:The scabbard is made of steel, straight and without dents. Both fittings are nickel-plated steel sheet, each fastened by two side screws. The upper fitting carries the suspension ring for the leather hanger.
