Featuring a blue leather grip and scabbard with sunwheel swastika medallions, it symbolized status and tradition. In 1937, the more famous 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger was introduced, with bright grips and pebbled metal scabbards, becoming one of the most recognizable daggers of the era. Alongside them stood the elegant Luftwaffe Officer’s Sword (1934) with winged crossguard and leather-wrapped hilt.
