SA Dagger [Early Version] by Malsch & Ambronn Steinbach
This SA [Sturmabteilung] Dagger is in Near Mint condition. Model 1933. The Dagger has the maker mark on the blade: Malsch & Ambronn Steinbach. The total length is 37.3 cm. Early Nickel fittings, lower guard with "Sa" stamp.
Grip: Nickel silver hilt fittings show age patina with lower reverse crossguard group marked, “Sa” (Sachsen). Brown, wooden grip shows light surface wear, and features early production grip-to-crossguard fit. Grip is complete with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset.
Blade: This blade is in MINT condition. The reverse ricasso is etched with the firm's name, Logo and location, “Malsch & Ambronn Steinbach”.
Scabbard: The scabbard shell is in good condition. The mounts exactly match the patination of the crossguards, and are retained by four nickel screws.
