This 1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger is in Near Mint condition throughout. Model 1935. The total length is 48.6 cm. The Dagger has the maker mark on the blade: SMF Solingen.

Grip: The grip is a carved wood base, and is covered with a blue Moroccan leather. The grip is tightly wrapped with springy copper wire. The pommel is an excellent example. The guard is the three section variety, which slopes downward and bears good, enhanced feathering.

Blade: The blade of this piece is a 310 mm example, being in MINT condition, with highest quality nickel-plated surfaces. This beautiful blade is stamped with the SMF Solingen trademark.

Scabbard: The scabbard shell of this piece is straight throughout, and is also covered in Moroccan leather. They are retained by headless side screws. The original chain hanger is in place.
