SS Dagger [Middle Version] with Hanger by RZM 941/36/SS

SS [Schutzstaffel] Dagger in middle Version. The dagger is in EXC+ condition throughout. This SS Dagger is with the RZM Makercode RZM 941/36/SS. SS Dagger is together with vertical hanger. A beautiful piece from SS Book "The Service Daggers of the SS (Schutzstaffel)" by Ralf Siegert, on pages 195, 196, 197.

Grip: This grip fits the crossguards. The grip eagle is the early, “High Necked” variety. All the details are visible throughout the bird's feathering, talons, wreath, and mobile swastika. This early dagger is equipped with nickel crossguards and tang nut. The guards are still in very good condition.

Blade: The blade of this example is still in near mint condition. The motto Meine Ehre heißt Treue «My honor is loyalty». The reverse ricasso of the blade is with RZM Code RZM 941/36/SS (Carl Eickhorn Solingen).

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is is straight as an arrow and repainted. The matching nickel mounts are in fine condition. The lower ball bears some signs of wear. The mounts are retained by four original nickel screws.

Hanger: The original-to-the-piece vertical hanger remains in good condition. All of the leather is still supple to include the scabbard retainer strap and the strap with the buckle and hasp.
