SS Dagger [Middle Version] with Hanger by Carl Eickhorn Solingen (RZM 941/38 SS)

SS [Schutzstaffel] Dagger in middle Version. The dagger is in EXC++ condition throughout and with Hanger RZM M5/8 (Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid). This SS Dagger is with the RZM Makercode RZM 941/38/SS (Carl Eickhorn Solingen).

Grip: The grip is made of ebony and features the SS emblem and the national eagle, both of which are internally pinned. Both crossguards are made of nickel-plated zinc, and the pommel nut is made of nickel-plated iron.

Blade: The blade is mirror-bright, free of rust or nicks, and features the so-called "crossgrain" on both sides. The front of the blade bears the SS motto, deeply etched and dark: Meine Ehre heißt Treue ("My honor is loyalty"). The reverse is plain and marked with the RZM code and logo: RZM 941/38/SS – Carl Eickhorn Solingen.

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is is straight as an arrow. The matching nickel mounts are in fine condition. The mounts are retained by four original nickel screws.
