SS Dagger [Early Model] by Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen-Foche

SS [Schutzstaffel] Dagger in early Version. Modell 1933. The dagger is in EXC+ condition throughout. This early SS Dagger is with the Maker Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen.

Grip: This grip fits the crossguards. The dagger having solid nickel cross guards. The reverse lower cross guard is district marked with the Roman numeral, "III" for Berlin. The guards are nice and smooth throughout. The ebony grip is in good condition. The SS runes are nice and silvery, with matching double circles around them. The wood of the SS Dagger’s grip has retained all of its deep black color. 

Blade: The blade of this example is still in MINT condition. The motto Meine Ehre heißt Treue «My honor is loyalty» is crisp and deep. The reverse ricasso is marked with the Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen logo. The blade shoulders perfectly meet the lower cross guard.

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is also an nice example; it is straight as an arrow, with original black paint. The matching nickel mounts are in fine condition. The mounts are retained by four nickel screws.
