NSKK Honor Dagger [Early Version] by August Müller (BISMARCK) Solingen
This NSKK [National Socialist Motor Corps] Dagger in EXC++ condition. Model 1933. The total length is 37.4 cm. Early Nickel fittings, lower guard with "Ns" stamp. Maker mark on the blade: August Müller (BISMARCK) Solingen.
Grip: The walnut grip is a beauty. It is of High Ridge construction and in mint condition. The Grip is without SA runes, the nickel grip eagle is fully detailed throughout. It is the style with the upward pointing beak. The crossguards have excellent smooth surfaces, with well-defined edges and sharply cut accent grooves. The lower reverse guard is gruppe marked “Ns”.
Blade: The blade is in fine condition. The SA motto is crisp and deep. The reverse ricasso is etched with the firm's name and location, “August Müller (BISMARCK) Solingen”. The blade shoulders perfectly meet the lower crossguard contour.
Scabbard: The scabbard shell is a fine example. There is also some original lacquer scattered around the scabbard. A few minor age spots are visible in the finish, but overall it is a pretty nice example. The scabbard mounts are of solid matching nickel, in good condition.
