Army Officer’s Dagger Model 1935 with gilt-filled name inscription “Hauptmann Walter Brandt” and two-piece hangers. The double-edged blade is inscribed on both sides: on the front with the personal name inscription “HAUPTMAN WALTER BRANDT” and on the reverse with the distributor / retailer marking “OTTO JORGENSEN FLENSBURG”. The overall length is approximately 398 mm, with a weight of approximately 387 g including the hangers.

Grip & Hilt: The dagger has an orange-colored fluted grip. Pommel, grip ring and crossguard correspond to the typical construction of the Army Officer’s Dagger M1935. The crossguard shows the Army eagle with outstretched wings and wreath. The metal parts show age- and use-related traces.

Blade: Bright, double-edged blade. The front side bears the gilt-filled name inscription “HAUPTMAN WALTER BRANDT”. The opposite side of the blade bears, also gilt-filled, the marking “OTTO JORGENSEN FLENSBURG”. The blade shows age- and use-related traces.

Name Inscription & Retailer Marking: The blade carries a personal attribution to Hauptmann Walter Brandt. The exact spelling engraved on the blade is “HAUPTMAN WALTER BRANDT”. The reverse marking “OTTO JORGENSEN FLENSBURG” is classified as a distributor or retailer marking and not as the maker marking of the dagger.
