Army Officer’s Dagger [M1935] by P. D. Lüneschloss Solingen
This Army Officer's Dagger is in EXC+ condition. Model 1935. The total length is 39.8 cm. The Dagger has the maker mark P. D. Lüneschloss Solingen.
Grip: The grip is a beautiful, yellow. The gorgeous pommel has twelve standing oak leaves are as crisp as the day they were stamped, together with the alternating acorns. The crossguard is completely crisp throughout the bird's eye, his fine checkered breast feathering, wing feathering and talons. The wreath has nice, pronounced oak leaves with a fine raised swastika in the center. The reverse of the guard as well as the top of the guard have lots of frosting evident under the black patination.
Blade: The blade is also in EXC++ condition, with all of the crossgrain, a mirror finish and a needle-like tip. This remarkable near mint blade is etched on the reverse with the trademark having the firm's initials and location, “P. D. Lüneschloss Solingen”.
Scabbard: The bands feature overlapping oak leaves, with each leaf having hand enhancement to the veins. The throat is a thicker style and is retained by two side screws.
