NSKK Dagger [Early Version] by Ed. Wüsthof Solingen

This NSKK [National Socialist Motor Corps] Wusthof Dagger is in EXC+  condition. Model 1933. The total length is 37.3 cm. Early Nickel fittings, lower guard with "Oe" and number "1600" stamp. The Dagger has maker mark on the blade: Ed. Wüsthof Solingen.

Grip: Nickel plated fittings on both crossguards, along with the pommel, the reverse of the central crossguard with the "Oe" (Österreich/Austria) SA Group mark. Wooden handle with a dark, smooth finish and without chipping, fitting tight to both crossguards. The embedded finely-detailed eagle shows well and rates extremely fine, while the SA insignia exhibits very light contact, also rating extremely fine.

Blade: The blade of this example remains nice and bright. This blade is in EXC++ condition. The SA motto is deep. The reverse ricasso is etched with the firm's name and location, “Ed Wüsthof Solingen” contained with ovals. Inside a logo of Wüsthof.

Scabbard: The black painted body has a gloss finish, magnetic, exhibiting moderate contact marks and surface wear in the paint from active use, the chape held firmly in place via two screws, the ring attached to the locket, the scabbard measuring 245 mm in length.
