SA Dagger [Middle Version] by RZM M7/30 (Gebr. Gräfrath Solingen)

This SA [Sturmabteilung] Dagger in Near Mint condition. Model 1936-1938 [Middle Version]. The total length is 37.4 cm. Early Nickel fittings. The Dagger has the maker mark and RZM Code on the blade: RZM M7/30 (Gebr. Gräfrath Solingen).

Grip: The grip is very fine, showing no usage and with High Contour construction. It is a nice chestnut colored wood with a very good looking subsurface grain. The SA runes button is nicely set and retains perfect enamel. The nickel grip eagle is the “High Necked” style.

Blade: The blade of this example is still grades at about MINT. The SA motto Alles für Deutschland «Everything for Germany» is deep and crisp. The company logo is on the reverse ricasso: RZM M7/30 and Gebr. Gräfrath Solingen. The blade shoulders meet the crossguard contour.

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is completely straight. The scabbard, all in all, is in a very fine condition. The scabbard mounts continue the theme of matching patination, and are both in excellent condition. These mounts are retained by the original screws.
