The Allach Porcelain figure known as the Rearing Horse (Steigendes Pferd). Model number 95, designed by Adolf Röhring. The porcelain horse, with excellent conformation, performing a controlled, High School dressage persade; standing on both hind legs, the forelegs raised and tucked evenly, carrying all the weight on the hindquarters, and forming a 45 degree angle to the gound. The glazed, white porcelain horse, is most possibly a Lipizzan or Lusitano stallion. The horse is not carrying a rider, or wearing tack, and is executed in a natural-style, (the mane and tail are not braided). The tail to the horse figure, forms a part-support with the base. The underside to the base shows a relief, Allach Porcelain maker-mark, model number 95, and Adolf Röhring, designer-name. One leg broken, and minor damage to the ears.
