German M1942 Pony Fur Tornister (Knapsack) by Otto Stephan Mühlhausen/Thür. Rectangular backpack structured internally with wood, olive green canvas back and interior with brown leather fittings and metal buckles, front and sides constructed of brown cowhide with two brown leather loops secured with brown thread stitching and on the left a D-ring attached with a brown leather loop and brown thread stitching.
