This SA [Sturmabteilung] Dagger in EXC condition. Model 1933. The total length is 37.4 cm. Early Nickel fittings, lower guard with "He" stamp. The Dagger has rare maker mark on the blade: R. Haastert & Büll, Solingen-Wald.

Grip: The mounts on this example are all solid nickel. The lower crossguard is Gruppe marked, “He” - Hessen. The grip is a fine, Smooth Contour type, having an attractive grain that runs on a slight slant on both the obverse and reverse. This grip is in perfect condition, showing little usage. The SA runes button is perfectly placed and has a faultless enamel surface.

Blade: The blade of this example have some minor staining in the surfaces, a lot of which could come out with a little work. The SA motto Alles für Deutschland «Everything for Germany» is deep but without the original darkening in the backgrounds. The reverse blade is in the same condition and this blade grades at about excellent. The reverse ricasso is matching etched with the logo of this producer: R. Haastert & Büll, Solingen. The blade shoulders purposely meet the lower crossguard contour.

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is a fine example, having new paint. The mounts are of solid matching nickel, in good condition, these are coated with a dark patina layer. The mounts are retained by solid nickel screws which are all in place. Attached to the carrying ring is a good short hanger. The hanger has supple leather.
