Wehrmacht Army officer's sabre for a leader of the General SS. Lion's head hilt with glass eyes and decorated crossguard, black grip with intact wire winding. Sovereign's eagle with outstretched wings, SS runes engraved on the reverse side of the guard plate. Slightly curved blade with two fullers. The blade is without a maker. Black lacquered steel scabbard with a suspension ring. Worn piece in very good condition.
