Purchase: Imperial Navy Dagger for Cadets, model 1891, German

A dagger M 1890/1901 of Leutnant Rabins. Nickel-plated blade, each side etched with maritime motifs and crowned fouled anchors. The pommel and cross-guard of gilt brass, with push button for scabbard release. Spiral turned ivory grip (old fissures). The gilt scabbard with wearer designation Rabins on the bottom half of the locket. Length 49 cm.
