Swiss Army Dagger Model 1943 by SIG Neuhausen. Nickel pommel with countersunk pommel nut and Holbein style crossguard. Medium brown, fruit-wood grip plates are fine with no cracks or chips and are retained by three nickel screws with countersunk taps. Polished center-ridge, double-edged, stiletto-style blade grades Near MINT. Obverse ricasso is stamped with the serial number, #40947. Dent-free bayonet-style scabbard retains approximately 99% of the original black enamel with minor rug marks to the obverse shell and wear to the under edges of the angular scabbard tip. The dagger is complete with, permanently-attached, short black leather hanger with nickel clip.
