This Dove Head example is a good, solid piece. The grip is a black celluloid over wood base. The celluloid is in fine condition throughout and it is tightly wrapped with triple twisted brass wire. Attached to the hilt is the original to the piece troddel. This army troddel is a green style still in the original proper tie. The blade of this example is a high-quality piece. It has a mirror nickel surface and easily in near mint condition. The scabbard is straight throughout. This scabbard has nice, black paint.
