SS Chained Dagger [M1936] with Type-B1 Chain

The SS Chained Dagger M1936 is in EXC+ condition with Type-B1 (Ralf Siegert Book) and Type-II (Thomas Wittmann) chain. This Dagger is equipped with the type II (B1) chain.

Grip: The crossguards and pommel nut are solid nickel. The black hardwood grip is in good condition. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed, has an excellent fit. The SS roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit.

Blade: The unmarked blade is a EXC+ example. The dark, acid etched “Meine Ehre heisst Treue” motto is textboot. The crossgraining continues to display quite nicely throughout. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is tight and set right against the crossguard.

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is straight throughout. It has an excellent anodized finish. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great matching the crossguards in color, patina and age wear. All five screws remain intact. The chain is the early Type II - T. Wittmann or B1 - R. Siegert nickel based version featuring all of the correct attributes. The chain links show wonderful detail to the skulls and SS runes. The correct first upper link is clearly “SS” proof marked.
