Polish Army Officer´s Dagger M1924 - G. Borowski

This is a example of a Model 1924 Polish Army Officers Dagger. Polish Army Officer´s Dagger is in EXC+ condition. The total length is 38.9 cm.

Grip: The hilt is comprised of a brass with square quillons and button shaped finials, tapered rectangular collar and pommel with laurel branch bands centering a tapered rectangular orange celluloid grip. The celluloid grip remains in near excellent condition with a few minor handling marks.

Blade: The blade is in fine condition throughout. The blade remains overall bright. The obverse side of the blade is nicely etched with outstretched Polish State eagle in center between floral scroll and motto “Honor I Ojczyzna” (Honor and Fatherland or Honor and Country).

Scabbard: The scabbard is straight, dent-free, gilded-brass in fince condition. The leather covered steel scabbard remains in excellent condition remaining fully intact with matching plated brass mounts featuring dual hangers and laurel branch bands
