German Army Officer’s Dagger with Hangers by WKC Solingen

Original German Army officer’s dagger, produced by the renowned maker WKC Solingen. Overall length: 40.0 cm. The dagger comes complete with its original portepee and hanger.

Grip: Cylindrical grip made of orange trylon, featuring double-twisted convex grooves. The conical pommel is tightly screwed to the tang and decorated with detailed oak leaves. At the lower end, a ring ornamented with aligned oak leaves. The crossguard bears the typical German eagle looking to the left, wings flowing downward, clutching a swastika within a wreath.

Blade: Double-edged, bright and fully intact. Tip 100% original, unshortened. The reverse bears the etched maker mark “WKC Solingen”. The original blade buffer is still in place between the shoulders and lower guard.

Scabbard: Steel scabbard made from a single piece, front and back with pebbled surface texture. Fitted with a throat piece, two oak-leaf decorated bands, and two fully closed suspension rings. The tip is rounded and undamaged. Throat is separately mounted and secured with a rear screw.
