Krom Heinrich, München

The Heinrich Krom (HCH. KROM) was a manufacturer of cutlery and edged weapons in Munich, located in the Reichsgau. The exact founding year is unknown, but the company produced early SA service daggers during the Nazi era. It did not receive an RZM code, limiting production to the early phase of NSDAP equipment. The location in Munich makes it one of the few manufacturers outside Solingen that produced SA daggers.

The firm specialized in SA service daggers (Sturmabteilung), produced in an estimated quantity of about 1,000 pieces. These daggers are rated with a rarity of 5/5 as extremely rare and highly valued by collectors, featuring the motto "Alles für Deutschland" and produced without RZM marking. Other products like further edged weapons are not associated with Heinrich Krom.

The logo of Heinrich Krom consisted of double round circles enclosing the company name and location "HCH. KROM München," typically etched on the reverse ricasso. This trademark made the products recognizable in the collector's scene.

Today, the products of Heinrich Krom represent a rare chapter in the history of the German edged weapons industry. The limited production and focus on early Nazi weapons make them an important example of the Nazi era, ideal for an encyclopedia on blade weapon manufacturers. We are interested in purchasing products from this manufacturer.
