German senior forestry cutlass, complete with scabbard. Maker marked C.E. (Carl Eickhorn), with squirrel trademark. Gilt brass hilt fittings, with clamshell guard and hoof quillon. Antler grip with brass acorns. Blade etched on both sides with detailed hunting scene, as well as oak leaves etched down the back of the blade. Leather scabbard, with gilt throat and chape, acorn stud.
