Grip: The grip showing some usage. The SA runes button is nicely set and retains enamel. The lower reverse guard is Gruppe marked, «Ho» Highland and is with dedication: C. Sioli.

Blade: The blade is double-edged. The tip remains needle-like. The reverse is marked Aug. Merten Ww. Solingen-Gr. The blade shoulders perfectly meet the lower crossguard contour.

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is also in EXC condition. The scabbard mounts have a matching patination. The four original screws are all in place. Upper mount is also with dedication: Für gute Schießleistungen 1936 Nachr. Sturm Br. 38 (For good shooting performance 1936 Nachr. Sturm Br.).
