This Hlinka Guard [HG] Dagger is in EXC++ condition. Model 1939. The total length is 36.6 cm. These fairly rare dagger is a nickel construction. Nickel fittings, lower guard with "HG" stamp. The Dagger is stamped with 42 on the blade.
Grip: Nickel silver hilt fittings in near mint condition, lower crossguard marked, “HG”. Medium brown, wooden grip shows light surface wear with no hairline cracks, chips or damage.
Blade: This blade is double-edged and in good condition. Blade marked 42.
Scabbard: The scabbard shell is straight throughout. The black painted body has a gloss finish, magnetic, exhibiting moderate contact marks and surface wear in the paint from active use. They exactly match the patination of the crossguards, and are retained by nickel screws.
