Historical Context: Allach Porcelain, Candelabra & Franz Nagy

The Allach Porcelain Manufactory, founded in the mid-1930s, became particularly known for its high-quality decorative and furnishing objects. In addition to figurines, candelabra and other representative pieces played an important role in its production.

Franz Nagy, one of the founders of the manufactory, shaped many early Allach models. His designs combine precise craftsmanship with forms inspired by historical styles. Baroque elements, as seen in this three-branch candelabra, are characteristic of his work.

This candelabra, bearing the model number “15”, original SS manufactory mark and an excellent state of preservation, represents an outstanding example of representative Allach porcelain art with both decorative and collector’s appeal.
