Wehrmacht Army officer's sabre for a leader of the General SS with maker. Lion's head hilt with glass eyes and decorated crossguard, black grip with intact wire winding. Sovereign's eagle with outstretched wings, SS runes engraved on the reverse side of the guard plate. Slightly curved blade with two fullers. The blade is marked with the manufacturer on the obverse: E.&F. Hörster Solingen. Black lacquered steel scabbard with a suspension ring. Worn piece in very good condition.
