NS Student League Knife [Early-period] by Gebr. Gräfrath GRÄWISO Solingen
NS-Student League Youth Knife, early production 1933–1935, manufactured by Gebr. Gräfrath (GRÄWISO), Solingen. Reverse of the blade marked with maker’s stamp and “Ges. Gesch.”.
Grip: Riveted black Bakelite grip plates with fishbone pattern. Centered on the obverse is the NS Student League insignia, securely pinned. The slightly curved crossguard (quillon) is made of nickel-plated iron and is magnetic.
Blade: The single-edged blade is made of cast steel, firmly set and riveted into the grip. Reverse stamped “Gebr. Gräfrath (GRÄWISO) Solingen” and “Ges. Gesch.”.
Scabbard: The scabbard is made of black-lacquered steel. Suspension is provided by a double-strap leather loop.
