Hitler Youth Knife with Motto [Early-period] by F.W. Höller Solingen

Early Hitler Youth (HJ) utility knife from the production period 1933–1935 featuring the characteristic motto “Blut und Ehre!” (“Blood and Honour!”). Manufactured by F.W. Höller, Solingen. This is an early example with the characteristic early struck maker mark, found exclusively on pieces from the first production years. A classic collector’s piece among early Hitler Youth edged weapons.

Grip: Riveted grip plates made of deep black Bakelite with pronounced checkered herringbone pattern. The center of the grip retains the typical HJ diamond emblem. The single-sided curved crossguard (quillon) is magnetic and firmly attached.

Blade: Single-edged steel blade, originally riveted into the grip. The obverse bears the early deeply etched HJ motto “Blut und Ehre!”, as used until 19 August 1938. The reverse side features the early maker mark “F.W. Höller Solingen” in characteristic struck form, together with the marking “Ges. Gesch.”.

Scabbard: Steel scabbard retaining its original black-painted finish. The carrying system consists of a leather strap with doubled retaining loop, typical for early HJ utility knives.
