German Naval Dagger [1st Model - M1929] by WKC Solingen
Original German Reichsmarine officer’s dagger, Model 1929, produced by the renowned maker WKC Solingen. Total length: 41.4 cm. Complete with original portepee and hanger.
Grip: Light-colored grip, slightly oval in shape, wrapped with double wire. Crossguard and pommel made of brass alloy, the pommel designed as a stylized flame. Original blade buffer below the guard. Release button in working condition. Original portepee wrapped around the hilt.
Blade: Double-edged and in excellent condition. Both sides etched with naval motifs (including anchors). Reverse marked with the maker “WKC Solingen”.
Scabbard: Original hammered scabbard, with suspension bands decorated with knots. Throat secured by two side screws. Both suspension rings closed and hammered as well.
