Original Prussian Infantry Officer’s Sword with portepee, manufactured by the renowned Solingen maker E.&F. Hörster, Solingen. The sword is preserved in an authentic, well-balanced condition and represents a classic example of Prussian officer sidearms.

Hilt: Brass hilt in typical Prussian pattern with fully intact wire wrapping. The form corresponds to the regulation infantry officer’s sword.

Blade: Straight, polished blade, bright on both sides. The reverse bears the manufacturer’s stamp “E.&F. Hörster Solingen”, clearly legible.

Scabbard: Brown leather scabbard with brass fittings, showing age-consistent wear.

Portepee: Complete with an associated portepee, forming a period-correct ensemble.
