Status & meaning

Why does an item show “Unavailable”?

It’s either sold/reserved or temporarily taken offline for review/updates. The status shown in the shop is authoritative.

Does adding to cart reserve the item?

No. Sales follow a first come, first served principle based on completed orders/payments.

The item was visible moments ago — now it’s gone?

It may have just been sold or reserved. A quick refresh can help; if in doubt, ask via the contact page.

Notifications & find requests

Can I get notified when an item is back?

If our shop offers a “Notify me” option on the item, please use it. Otherwise, send us your request via the contact page.

How do I place a find request?

Please share category/type, era, maker, desired traits (e.g., markings/numbers), acceptable condition range, and a budget window. Reference photos help a lot.

Can you guarantee the exact same item will reappear?

No — many items are unique and can’t be “reordered”. We’ll keep an eye out for similar pieces and notify you of suitable arrivals.

Can I view an item at the office?

Yes, by appointment. For security reasons items are not stored at the office. Please provide the item number (or product link) in advance so we can prepare it for your appointment. Schedule via the contact page.
