Cash Payment – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Quick note: Cash payment is possible by appointment at a secure pickup location. Items are stored off-site; please provide the item number in advance via the contact page. For higher amounts we perform statutory ID checks. Cash is counted together and receipted.

Where and when is cash payment possible?

Appointment & pickup location

Cash payment is offered with in-person pickup by appointment. For security reasons items are stored off-site; we will bring your piece to the pickup location for the appointment.

Please share the item number (or product link) in advance via the contact page.

Walk-ins?

Please no unannounced visits. You will receive an appointment confirmation incl. travel information.

Process & security

Counting & receipt

Cash is counted together (count sheet on request). You will receive a receipt/invoice for the amount and the item.

Counterfeit check

We check banknotes (visual/technical). If irregularities arise, we stop the transaction; reporting obligations may apply.

On-site safety

Handovers take place at suitable, easily accessible locations. For larger sums, please transport cash discreetly and without extra parcels.

Amounts, ID & documentation

ID checks for high amounts

Under applicable anti-money-laundering regulations, ID verification (government photo ID, and if required address) is necessary for higher cash amounts. We will inform you in advance if this applies.

Currencies & change

Cash payment is in EUR by default. Other currencies are possible only by prior arrangement. Please bring exact amounts where possible; we keep standard change available.

Reservation & deposit

Will you reserve the item until my appointment?

Yes, by individual arrangement and usually for a limited time. A deposit may be required. Please coordinate via the contact page.

Combine cash & bank transfer?

Possible. Let us know the split in advance so we can prepare the paperwork accordingly.

Refunds for cash payments

How are refunds processed?

Refunds are handled by agreement, preferably via bank transfer (for auditability). Alternatively, cash refund against receipt at an appointment. Subject to our right of withdrawal.
