Italian Bayonet Vetterli-Vitali M1870 Excellent fullered blade with Italian maker's name: TORINO (=TORINO arsenal Turin) in an oval and inspection marking BC on ricasso. Blade retaining nut on top of pommel. Beautiful brown composition grips secured by screws with oval bolts. Bright crossguard with forward swept quillon and muzzle ring MRD 17.8 mm. Excellent black leather type T scabbard with great tooling and brass fitings with no dents.
