NSFK Competition Award, Cased with Document #8025

Rare NSFK Bronze Plaque “Deutschlandflug 1938”, complete with original case and matching award document no. 8025. The plaque is manufactured from bronzed aluminium and executed in an impressive oval format.

Obverse: Surrounding inscription “Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps – Deutschlandflug 1938”, centrally featuring the NSFK emblem with Pegasus and swastika. Crisp, raised details throughout.

Reverse: Impressed award number “8025” and the quotation by Friedrich Christiansen (NSFK):
“MIT UNSEREM FÜHRER IM GLEICHEN SCHRITT UND TRITT FLIEGEN WIR FÜR UNSER EWIGES DEUTSCHLAND” (“In step with our leader, we fly for our eternal Germany”).

Case: Original award case with hinged inner lid, gold-lettered: “Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps – Der Korpsführer”. Well preserved.

Award document: Issued to HJ-Kameradschaftsführer Peter Helmich, Baden-Baden, for special achievement in ground service during the 1938 Deutschlandflug. Dated Berlin, 29 May 1938.
