Luftschutz M38 Helmet [Gladiator] by RL2-38/28

Original Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) steel helmet, Model M38, commonly referred to as the “Gladiator” helmet. The helmet is in very good original condition and retains most of its original RLB blue paint.

The front shows a partially preserved Luftschutz decal, the official emblem of the Reich Air Protection League, featuring a swastika. This is a magnetic, three-piece M38 construction helmet.

Interior markings: Stamped inside the rear neck guard with “RL2-38/28 – Paul Diener, Metal Spinning & Stamping Works, Bernhardstraße 103, Dresden”, along with the approval note “Distribution approved according to §8 Air Protection Law”. Helmet size 57.

Equipment: Complete with original liner and leather chinstrap. An authentic original example of German civil air defense equipment.

Measurements: approx. 312 × 262 mm
Condition: Excellent plus (EXC+), showing normal age- and service-related wear.
