The scabbard measures approximately 283 mm in length and weighs approximately 116 g. It is made from drawn sheet steel and shows the typical granulated surface texture on both front and reverse.
Construction: The scabbard follows the classic form used for the Army Officer’s Dagger M1935. It has a separately inserted throat piece, two scabbard bands with oak leaf decoration and two loose suspension rings. Both suspension rings are fully closed. The tip is rounded and corresponds to the usual form of this scabbard type.
Throat Piece & Fastening: The throat piece is separately inserted. On this scabbard, the throat piece is held by two side screws.
