Construction: Wooden grip in the characteristic shape of the SS service dagger. The inserted nickel silver national eagle is present and properly fitted. Above it is the enameled SS emblem, period-typical internally crimped. Both emblems are firmly mounted in the grip and correspond to the typical configuration found on SS service daggers.
