Rare red metal control tag by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen, with a diameter of approximately 32 mm. Such control tags were used as quality and inspection hang tags on Solingen edged weapons and are often missing today, as they were frequently lost during use or over the decades.

Front: Stamped with the well-known “Original Eickhorn Solingen” logo and “Ges. Gesch.”. The stamping is clearly visible and corresponds to the typical pattern of these control tags.

Reverse: Marked “Eickhorn Tradition Qualität”. The red version is visually distinctive and highly appreciated as an accessory, especially when aiming to complete an Eickhorn-related edged weapon in a period-correct manner.
