Spanish Model 1941 Mauser Bayonet by Toledo
Well-preserved Spanish machete bayonet Model 1941 for the Carbine 98/43. Classic configuration with massive machete-style blade and ribbed wooden grip panels. Blade and scabbard are numbered: 8406 M and 5923 P. The bayonet release button operates flawlessly. Total length: 398 mm.
Blade: Straight, single-edged steel blade with a distinct widening in the lower third and a characteristic central taper. Equipped with fuller grooves on both sides. The ricasso bears the manufacturer’s mark Fábrica Nacional de Toledo.
Grip: Two ribbed wooden grip panels, securely fastened to the tang with two screws. Features a T-shaped mounting slot for the rifle and an internal spring-loaded locking mechanism—fully functional. The crossguard is straight with a muzzle ring on the blade side.
Scabbard: Original steel scabbard with inserted spring-loaded throat. Fitted with an oval side stud and a rounded finial. Numbered 5923 P, matching the bayonet.
