Long Single-Etched Short Bayonet with Frog by Josef Hack Steyr-Österreich

This Long Single-Etched short Bayonet in EXC+ condition. The Bayonet is with inscription "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit" by Josef Hack Steyr-Österreich.

Grip: The grip plates are in perfect condition, being the black checkered type. There are retained by steel rivets with dressed obverse heads. The nickel hilt plating on this bayonet is remains excellent throughout, on reverse is the hilt damaged. The mortise button and blade lock work well.

Blade: The blade has a fine fuller. This blade is bright throughout and is in mint condition, makers mark Josef Hack Steyr-Österreich. The original blade washer is in place.

Scabbard: The scabbard is straight throughout. The paint is still excellent and nearly 90% intact, with the original factory brightness. The attached patent leather frog is in very nice condition, showing only mild attic crazing.
