Classic Wehrmacht bayonet model 84/98 manufactured under the maker code cvl 44, produced by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie. (WKC), Solingen. This example is fully matching and represents an authentic late-war issue bayonet of the German Army.
Grip: Brown wooden grip plates, secured by two screws. The press-button locking mechanism functions correctly. The grip is tight and without play.
Blade: Blued, single-edged blade with rounded fullers. The obverse is clearly stamped with the serial number 6691 n. The reverse bears the maker code “cvl 44”, indicating production by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie. (WKC), Solingen in 1944.
