Stag Gripped Long Bayonet by Amberg

This Stag Gripped Long Bayonet is in EXC+ condition. The Bayonet is with the maker mark Amberg.

Grip: The stag grip plates on this piece are real beauties, being cut to fit perfectly. They have a very pleasing brown coloration and fine grains. The edges of the plates have toned to a mellow golden color. The plates are retained by offset rivets and spanners. The rivets retain all of their head plating. The mortise button and lock work well.

Blade: The short blade is the style with a narrow fuller. The reverse ricasso is stamped with Amberg.

Scabbard: The steel scabbard is straight throughout.
