This German WWI Lion Head of the Prussian Officers Sword is without maker mark on the blade. Total Length is 71,2 cm.

Grip: The grip is of carved wood with a covering of black celluloid. This celluloid is in perfect condition, retaining the fine original sheen. The grip is very tightly wrapped with triple strands of aluminum wire, the center strand being twisted. The lion head is finely detailed and shows evidence of hand enhancement throughout the teeth. The ferrule is a typical example, featuring oak leaves running throughout the surface.

Blade: The 58,8 cm blade of this example is of highest quality, with an excellent nickel-plated finish, the blade is in Near Mint condition. The original blade buffer is in place.

Scabbard: The scabbard is nice and straight throughout. The scabbard is fitted with dual ring carriage.
