This specimen is in flawless condition. Large and impressive oval shaped bronzed aluminium non-portable medallion/plaque. Stunning pre WW2 craftsmanship. Measures approx. 94,76 mm by 76,78 mm. Raised detail to obverse and reverse. Large NSFK symbol to the centre featuring Pegasus with a large swastika superimposed. Around the outer of the obverse is the wording 'Nationalsozialstisches Fliegerkorps Deutschlandflug 1938'. Reverse has an impressed issue number '5351' and the wording 'MIT UNSEREM FÜHRER IM GLEICHEN SCHRITT UND TRITT FLIEGEN WIR FÜR UNSER EWIGES DEUTSCHLAND' (In step with our leader we fly for our eternal Germany).
