Double-Etched Bayonet by Gustav Spitzer Solingen

This Double-Etched Bayonet in NEAR MINT condition. The Bayonet is with the maker mark Gustav Spitzer Solingen.

Grip: The grip plates are in perfect condition. There are retained by steel rivets with dressed obverse heads. The nickel hilt plating on this bayonet is remains fine throughout. The mortise button and blade lock work well.

Blade: The blade has a fine fuller. This blade is bright throughout and is in near mint condition. The obverse has Pattern with inscription "The Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit". The reverse is stamped with the maker mark Gustav Spitzer Solingen, the second etched "Infanterie Regiment No 43", and the original blade washer is in place.

Scabbard: The scabbard is straight throughout. The paint is still excellent.
