This 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger, produced by TIGER, and is in NEAR MINT condition overall. Model 1937. The total length is 42.7 cm.

Grip: The Grip of this dagger is a fine, off-white color. It is tightly wrapped with twisted silver wire. The pommel is the style with pebbled backgrounds to the oak leaves. These oak leaves are nicely detailed, and they surround the raised swastikas that appear on both sides of the pommel. The crossguard is also a great example. The generic variety has large pebbling on the reverse panel. The eagles on these guards are especially nice as the tops of the wings slightly overlap the depiction. This bird has complete detail to the head, breast and wing feathering, as well as the talons. The upper surface of the quillons are decorated with a pattern of oak leaves and acorns cast into the surfaces.

Blade: The blade is in MINT condition throughout, with all of the crossgrain, a mirror finish and a needle-like tip. This blade is stamped on the reverse with the tiger trademark having the firm's initials and location beneath, “TIGER Solingen”. The leather washer is in place.

Scabbard: The scabbard is also a fine example. It has outstanding crisp pebbled panels and the bands are a fine aluminum having excellent detail to the oak leaves. The throat is slightly thick and is retained by one mount screw.
